Abstract

|
|
There have recently been enlarging the portion of female soldiers according to policy of reinforcing them in the Korean armed forces. Owing to the policy, a number of positive (e.g., betterment in military culture) as well as negative effects could be expected. Higher likelihood of gender discrimination and military sexual offenses might be the most frequent example among the negative effects. As though there would be a variety of strategies preventing and/or dealing with the military sexual offenses (e.g., annually compulsory education course on military sex discipline), effective use of both female complaint counselor and military life counselor system was discussed as the best strategy of doing them.
